Drive along a beautiful country road with views on top of views and wildlife! The deer are abundant!  Lazy Bear is a charming log cabin surrounded by nature and tranquility.  It has a wonderful floorplan for all the family to enjoy. Rocking chairs, sitting areas, a charcoal grill on the back deck, and don't forget the hot tub. Have your morning coffee and quiet time on the wrap-around deck or one of the other covered decks with rocking chairs.

 

You'll enter Lazy Bear Cabin to find a beautiful wood interior and a fabulous open living room, dining and fully equipped kitchen area. This area is spacious for gathering and enjoying each others company while cooking, eating or simply relaxing in the living room while watching the flat screen tv along with the gas log fireplace.  This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin sleeps up to 8 people.  The master bedroom is on the main level and features a queen Tempur-Pedic mattress with a private entrance to the main level bathroom and also a private exit to the back deck. Be sure to step out and enjoy the cool air and starry nights lounging in the bubbling hot tub.  Upstairs are 2 separate bedrooms. The first with an additional queen bed, flat screen tv, and private balcony and the second has a set of double beds.  Both bedrooms share the door to the second full bathroom. Here you'll also find a great area for the kids to play in the loft, which overlooks the living room.  The loft area is equipped with a table, games, books and a private screened-in balcony.

The fun isn't over yet!  Walk downstairs to the unfinished basement area where you'll find the pool table and ping pong table. You'll also find a washer and dryer available for use during your stay.  You can exit here to the ground area to play corn hole or build a fire in the firepit while sitting around telling old stories or roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.

Lazy Bear also has WIFI for those that need to work a little while getting away from the everyday busy life.  We know it happens but hope you'll take time to yourself to enjoy what the beautiful nature has to offer.

Take a hike or visit a local waterfall.  Enjoy the downtown Blue Ridge area full of great great restaurants and shops.  Or spend the day whitewater rafting, ziplining, fly fishing, kayaking, or horseback riding.  Don't forget to visit one of the many orchards or wineries.  Kids will enjoy gem mining or tubing down the Toccoa River.  Sit back and relax and take in some mountain air.  Peace and Serenity are all around you at Lazy Bear Cabin.
